About the role:

Apexive is seeking a highly organized and experienced Business Manager to join our team. The Business Manager will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative and financial tasks, including overseeing legal and accounting functions, as well as providing support to our executive team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Serve as a liaison between the executive team, legal department, and accounting department

- Manage day-to-day operations of the business, including overseeing financial reports, invoices, and budgets

- Manage building contractors as required. Negotiation of certain building contracts. Ensure contract compliance

- Investigate, analyze, and resolve operational problems and complaints

- Develop and implement strategies for improving business efficiency and profitability

- Oversee legal activities, such as contracts, agreements, and regulatory compliance

- Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis

- Monitor and manage company assets, including inventory, equipment, and property

- Provide administrative support to the executive team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence

- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients

- Assist with special projects, as needed

Must haves

Master's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field

3+ years of experience in a similar role, with experience in legal and accounting functions

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively

Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

Demonstrated technical knowledge of building maintenance and control functions is preferred.
